Product Overview

Joe Baggs Flukies – Bottom Fishing

When bottom-dwelling fish are finicky, weak plastics slip, and strikes get missed. Joe Baggs Flukies are engineered to hold soft plastics securely while delivering lifelike action that triggers aggressive bites from structure-loving predators.

Designed for fluke, seabass, seatrout, and small halibut, these jigs perform whether dropped vertically, worked slow, or fished on the bottom.

Key Benefits

  • Lifelike Action – 120+ silicon strands (2–3x more than typical flukes) create realistic movement that entices bottom-dwelling fish.

  • Superior Plastic Retention – Custom collars hold Gulp and other soft plastics in place during heavy strikes or structure-heavy retrieves.

  • Durable Saltwater Hooks – Heavy-duty Mustad hooks maintain hook-up ratios on aggressive species.

  • Versatile Bottom Presentation – Ideal for vertical drops, slow retrieves, or drifting over wrecks, ledges, and shallow bays.

  • Built to Handle Pressure – Withstands strikes from fluke, seabass, seatrout, small halibut, and other bottom predators.

    Flukies

I use these jigs quite bite in cape cod waters and they hold very well against sea bass and fluke. They look great even after a day of bouncing the bottom.
