Product Overview

Joe Baggs Swarter – Hybrid Swimmer for Big Game

The Hook

When predators are keyed in on fleeing baitfish, slow or lifeless lures just won’t cut it. The Joe Baggs Swarter delivers a tight, natural wiggle and precise action that triggers reaction strikes from Striped Bass, Bluefish, Snook, and other aggressive predators.

Built for distance, control, and durability, this hybrid swimmer performs in surf, inshore, or offshore conditions where timing and presentation matter most.

Key Benefits

  • Lifelike Hybrid Action – Tight, natural wiggle mimics wounded baitfish, provoking aggressive strikes.

  • Versatile Depth Control – Float-to-suspend behavior allows anglers to work the Swarter at multiple depths for maximum coverage.

  • Long-Distance Casting – Internal weight-transfer system sends the lure far while keeping it swimming true.

  • Through-Wire Construction & VMC Hooks – Built to handle violent strikes and long battles with powerful gamefish.

  • Targeted Performance – Effective on Striped Bass, Bluefish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Jacks, and more.

These lures cast fantastic even into a stiff wind. They always catch fish and can stand up to any toothy critters as well. Always in my arsenal!

    Swarter action

Posted by JaredBessette on May 24th 2023

The swarter one of the best action i have yet to seen, the darting and wobble action is precise. And the fact that when you give this lure a "pause" while reeling, it stays suspended in the water column for a second or 2 longer then most lures, which is perfect to setting a fish off to smash this lure!

    Swarter

For the price, you cannot beat the Swarter for night time striper fishing. The action is perfect! Cast it into a current and it will stage with lots of action. Retrieve it like a jerk bait and the fish cannot resist. Love this lure, all colors, and if I lose one it doesn't break the bank to replace it.
